At SemaSys, we are constantly researching ways to design and retrofit our facilities with energy-efficient processes and technologies, to establish recycling programs and to train our employees in “best-practices” relevant to environmentally responsible production and distribution of our products. We’re already well down the road in terms of our commitment to environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes and operational standards. As part of this sustainability effort, SemaSys purchases renewable energy certificates for wind power equivalent to 75% of its electricity usage. By combining its green power purchase with energy conservation and efficiency, SemaSys has actually experienced a decrease in its electricity costs.
